This paper reports newborn infants with family history of Autism Spectrum Disorders display higher levels of regional homogeneity (ReHo) in multiple functional networks compared to infants with no family history of any psychiatric condition. These results suggest local functional connectivity might follow a different developmental trajectory in individuals with a genetic vulnerability for atypical development.
